Removing
–  Remove adaptive cruise control unit -J428- → Chapter.
   
–  Detach fasteners -1- on both sides in direction of arrow -A-.
–  Remove trim for radar sensor -2-.
 

Removing automatic distance control unit from and installing on adapter frame, variant 2

–  Release locking mechanisms -1- in direction of arrow -A-.
–  Swing out automatic distance control unit -J428--3- in direction of arrow -B-.
–  Remove automatic distance control unit -J428--3- from adapter frame -2-.
Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the following:
–  Calibrate adaptive cruise control → Chapter.
