The side spoiler remains installed.

Removing and installing roof spoiler

–  Remove rear lid trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
–  Lift out cap.
–  Unscrew hexagon nuts -3- from stud -2-.
–  Forcefully press roof spoiler -1- upwards -arrows- out of clips -7-.
–  Disconnect hose -5- and electrical wire -4-.
For notes on hose of window washer system refer to → Electrical system; Rep. gr.92.
For notes on electrical wiring of additional brake light refer to → Electrical system; Rep. gr.94.

 
Installing
   

Removing and installing roof spoiler

–  Check foam rings -1- of clips, centring pins and threaded studs for damage and renew them, if necessary.
–  Check foam strips -5- and -6- for damage, and renew them if necessary.
–  Check felt strips (32 mm x 110 mm) -4-and foam strips (20 mm x 122 mm) -2- at right and left for damage, and renew them if necessary.
–  Pull protective film off adhesive tape -3- at left and right.
 

Removing and installing roof spoiler

–  Secure hose -2- and electrical wire -3-.
For notes on hose of window washer system refer to → Electrical system; Rep. gr.92.
For notes on electrical wiring of additional brake light refer to → Electrical system; Rep. gr.94.
–  Fit roof spoiler -1- in installation position using centring pins -7-.
–  Press roof spoiler -1- hard onto rear lid -arrows- until clips -8- engage.
–  Place hexagon nuts -6- onto studs -5- and tighten.
–  Specified torque → Chapter „Assembly overview - roof spoiler“.
