Remove noise insulation
→ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66. |

Unscrew bolts -1, 2 and 3-, and
remove pendulum support. |
| Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the
following: |

| There are threaded inserts, e.g. “Heli coil”, in the bolting
holes for the pendulum support. |

On some vehicles, the illumination is not provided by a
light bulb, but by an LED (light-emitting diode), depending on
the equipment level. This LED is permanently attached to the
retaining sleeve and cannot be renewed separately.

Only trained personnel may perform any assembly work on
run-flat tyres and ultra-high-performance tyres.
If fitted, check tyre pressure sensor using vehicle
diagnostic tester, and renew it as necessary.
