Open glove compartment lid -2-. |

Push limit stops -1- for glove
compartment lid -2- upwards

At the same time, open glove compartment lid

-arrow B-. While doing this, carefully pull rack out of
damper element. |
Moving from service position |

Close glove compartment lid slowly. While doing this,
carefully slide rack of braking element into damper element. |
– |
Close glove compartment lid further and engage it behind
limit stops. |
