  Note
The separating and connecting procedures are described for the left side of the vehicle. The separating and connecting procedures on the right side are analogous.
   
Detaching
–  Fold down rear seat backrest.
–  Unclip cover -1- from rear seat backrest.
 

Separating and connecting Bowden cable for remote release mechanism for seat backrest

–  Pull Bowden cable -1- out of cable support bracket -2-.
–  Remove pin -3- of Bowden cable from mounting -4- in connecting piece.
–  Thread Bowden cable -1- out of rear seat backrest -arrow-.

Connecting
The Bowden cables are connected in reverse order. Observe the following while doing so:

The backrest cover must be secured all-round by cover -1-.
