Pull and hold operating mechanism to remotely release seat backrest

Unclip remote release operating mechanism for seat backrest
-1- from luggage compartment side trim, and
swing it out -arrow A-. |

Release cable support bracket from Bowden cable
-3--arrow B-. |

Push Bowden cable -3- out of cable
support bracket of remote release mechanism for seat backrest
-1--arrow C-. |

Detach pin of Bowden cable -3- from
handle for remote release mechanism for seat backrest
-1-. |

Remove remote operating mechanism for seat backrest. |
| Install in reverse order, but note the following: |

| Ensure that cable support bracket of Bowden cable
-2- is properly seated in locating
lugs of remote release operating mechanism for seat backrest
