Torque wrench -V.A.G 1410- and 11 mm insert
tool-V.A.G 1331-. |
– |
Push metal valve with rubber seal through the rim from the
inside. |
– |
Fit chamfered washer and union nut from outside, and screw
it in by hand. |
Note
If bonded wheel trims are fitted, treat them with great
care. The surface is susceptible to scratches. |
If the wheel trim is damaged, renew wheel rim. |
1) |
Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPMS): direct
measurement. Tyre pressure sensor installed on metal valve in
wheel; pressure and temperature values are sent and analysed
periodically. |
2) |
TPLI+, indirect measurement No tyre pressure
sensor is installed in the wheel. Instead, the rolling
circumference and vibration on each wheel are compared by
analysing the signals from the ABS sensors. The pressure loss is
determined indirectly. If the tyre pressure changes, the speed
and the vibration on the respective wheel will change as well. |
