Volkswagen Golf Service & Repair Manual: Removing and installing glove compartment cover

Removing
–  Remove glove compartment → Chapter.
–  Place glove compartment on a soft surface.
–  Move glove compartment lid to service position → Chapter.
–  Drive out left and right hinge pins -1- in -direction of arrow B- using a drift.
–  Remove glove compartment lid from glove compartment.
Installing
  Note
  • Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if necessary.
  • Installation is carried out in reverse order.
