Upholstery clip pliers -V.A.G 1634 |

Remove cover and padding
→ Chapter. |
|
|
Hook -3438 |
| Vehicles with seat depth adjustment |
| – |
Unclip beading strips -2- from
locking lugs -5-. |
| – |
Detach seat cover from tabs -4-
on both sides using front end hook -3438-. |

Remove carrier -3- with seat
padding and seat depth adjustment from seat cover
-1-. |

| Continued for all vehicles |

Pull retaining tab -3- of seat
cover -1- in
-direction of arrow- off seat padding
-2-. |

|
|

Pull seat cover -1- off seat
padding -2-. |

Cut through upholstery clips -3-
using pliers -4-. |
| Install in reverse order, but note the following: |

Renew all opened retaining clips
→ Item and fit them in the same positions. |

Pull seat cover -1- over padding
-4-. |

Secure seat cover -1- with upholstery
clips -2- in mountings
-3-. |

Use upholstery clip pliers -V.A.G 1634- for this. |
| – |
Ensure that seat cover -1- is free of
creases. |
