Remove cover for parking lock -1-
→ Chapter. |

Remove bolts -2- and pull
parking lock -1- off dowel sleeves
-arrows-. |
| If parking lock cannot be removed by hand: |
| – |
Apply multi-purpose tool -VW 771- with extractor tool -VW
771/37- behind parking lock and remove parking lock by pulling
on alternate sides. |

Always renew bolts -2-. |
| – |
Fit parking lock -1- onto dowel
sleeves -arrows-. |
| – |
Screw in new bolts -2-,
specified torque 20 Nm + 90° further. |

Install cover for parking lock -1-
→ Chapter. |
