Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers. |

Remove ignition key, if inserted. |

| Danger of damage to component surfaces. |
| When using leverage tools, mask visible areas of the
component with commercially available adhesive tape. |

Raise armrest of centre console. |
|
|

Carefully lever off cover -3-
using removal wedge -3409-. |

Pull mounting plate -2- out of
storage compartment in direction of arrow
-A-. |

Release and detach connectors. |

|
|

Press fasteners -2- in
direction of arrow -B- off USB
connection. |
| – |
Pull out USB connection -1- in
direction of arrow -A-. |
| Installation is carried out in reverse order of removal. |

Note
The connection for external multimedia devices is connected
to control unit 1 for information electronics -J794-.
