Removing and installing bonnet

–  Remove spray jets -4- → Electrical system; Rep. gr.92.
–  Pull line -5- out of opening in bonnet -1-.
–  If fitted, remove caps -3-.
–  Loosen hexagon nuts -2- on left and right hinge -6- (do not remove).
Further dismantling requires the assistance of a second mechanic.
–  Remove gas strut.
–  Now, unscrew and remove hexagon nuts -2- and lift bonnet -1- out of hinges -6-.

 
Installing
   

Removing and installing bonnet

Installation of bonnet -1- is carried out accordingly in reverse order of removal.
  Note
Install the line -5- in a curve. If line is installed twisted it will kink.
–  Adjusting bonnet -1- → Chapter.
Specified torques
  Hexagon nuts → Chapter „Assembly overview - bonnet“
