Volkswagen Golf Service & Repair Manual: Removing and installing ambient temperature sensor -G17-

Removing
–  Remove radiator grille → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.
   
–  Remove ambient temperature sensor -G17--1- from bracket -arrow-.
–  Remove ambient temperature sensor -G17- upwards.
–  Disconnect electrical connector.
Installing
  Note
Ensure electrical wiring connector is properly seated to prevent ingress of water (spray water).
–  Install in reverse order.
Specified torque
