Removing

–	Switch off electrical consumers.

–	Switch off auxiliary and supplementary heater and switch off ignition.

–	Remove front part of front right wheel housing liner → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.

–	Squeeze spreader clip -1- together and twist air intake silencer -2- out of aluminium pipe. Twist aluminium pipe off connection of auxiliary and supplementary heater.

Installing

–	Install in reverse order.

–	Push spreader clip -1- of air intake silencer -2- into bracket until it engages.

Note

The air intake silencer must not touch the auxiliary and supplementary heater housing.

Do not kink or crush aluminium pipe.

Specified torque

Wheel housing liner; Removing and installing wheel housing liner → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66
