Removing and installing front centre armrest

|
| – | Carefully release side trims of centre console at rear from catches, and push them slightly outwards. |
| – | Using suitable pliers, push locking lugs -1- outwards -arrow A- and -arrow B-. |
| – | Pull front centre armrest -2- upwards out of centre console -arrow-. |
|
| – | Bend locking lugs -1- back into their original positions. |
| – | Engage front centre armrest -2- in respective mountings in centre console. |
| Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. |
Removing and installing centre console retainer, securing bracket and
insulation for selector mechanism, e-Golf only
Special tools and workshop equipment
