If steering wheel is not centred, it must be
straightened after wheel alignment is finished. Then carry out basic
setting for steering angle sender -G85- using → Vehicle
diagnostic tester. |
Note
| If adjustments have been made to the suspension after a
wheel alignment check on vehicles with ESP or ABS, the steering
angle sender -G85- must be calibrated using the
→ Vehicle
diagnostic tester. |
| If any changes are made to the rear wheel alignment
settings, the following driver assist systems must be
recalibrated: |
| Lane departure warning (Audi lane assist)
→ Chapter „Calibrating front camera for driver assist systems“, |
| ACC
→ Chapter „Calibrating adaptive cruise control (ACC), except for
e-Golf“. |

If measured values are outside specified tolerances, this
