The tailgate is open or not properly closed. |  Do not drive
on! Open the tailgate and then close it again. |
Several warning and indicator lamps will light up briefly as a functional check when the ignition is switched on. They will switch off after a few seconds.
A symbol in the instrument cluster display indicates
that the tailgate is open or not closed properly. This symbol is also visible when
the ignition is switched off . The display will go out after a few seconds once
all doors have been closed and the vehicle has been locked.
WARNING
- Stop as soon as possible and close the tailgate.
- After closing the tailgate, always check that it is properly secured.
The symbol can differ depending on the version of the instrument cluster.
