Volkswagen Golf Service & Repair Manual: Separating cover and padding for rear seat backrest

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Upholstery clip pliers -V.A.G 1634

Removing

–	Remove backrest cover with backrest padding from rear seat backrest → Chapter.

–	Pull backrest cover -3- as far as possible off backrest padding -2-.

–	Cut through upholstery clips -1- using pliers.

Installing

Install in reverse order, but note the following:

–	After installation, check that there are no creases in the seat cover.
