Note
Only on vehicles with Climatronic. On vehicles with heater
or air conditioning system with electric/manual controls, the
apertures in the air ducts are sealed with plugs. |
The illustration shows a left-hand drive vehicle. The
procedure is identical. |

Remove dash panel end cover
→ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |

Turn vent temperature sender -1-
in -direction of arrow- and pull it
out of mounting. |

Disconnect electrical connector -2-. |
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When
installing, note the following: |

Renew seal -3- if damaged or
defective. |
Note
An incorrectly installed vent temperature sender will cause
flow noise. |

As a final step, read event memory, and erase any entries
displayed using vehicle diagnostic tester in “Guided fault
finding” mode. |
