Volkswagen Golf Service & Repair Manual: Removing and installing fuse holder, battery

Removing
–  With ignition switched off, disconnect earth cable from battery → Chapter.
   
–  Open cover -1-.
–  Remove nut -3-.
–  Lay positive wire -2- to one side.
–  Remove nut -5-.
–  Remove fuse holder -4- from battery terminal clamp.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence.
Specified torques
→ Chapter „Overview of fitting locations – fuse box, battery (vehicles with high-voltage system)“
