  Note
Removal and installation are described only for the left exterior mirror. The right side is similar.

Removing and installing exterior mirror

Removing
–  Remove front door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
–  Unclip cover -3- detaching adhesive tape -4- while doing so.
–  Remove loudspeaker → Electrical system; Rep. gr.91.
–  Reach through opening in loudspeaker, and disconnect connector -8- for exterior mirror-1-.
–  Unscrew bolts -5- from exterior mirror -1-.
–  Remove control unit for door, and detach clip -7- installed behind it -arrows-.
–  Thread electric wire -6- through hole in door, and remove exterior mirror -1-.
Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal observing the following:
–  If adhesive tape of clip are damaged, remove cover.
–  Then check function.
