Removing
–  Remove backrest cover and backrest padding → Chapter.
   
–  Pull operating lever -1- upwards and unscrew bolt -2-.
–  Push mounting bracket for backrest release mechanism -4- upwards -arrow- and detach connecting Bowden cable -3-.
–  Release retaining lugs -5- of backrest release mechanism.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Specified torques
  → Chapter „Assembly overview - backrest release mechanism and entry assistance“
  → Chapter „Assembly overview - front backrest“
  → Chapter „Assembly overview - front seat“
