Volkswagen Golf Owners Manual: Operation via the infotainment system

First read and observe the introductory information and safety warnings

Various Climatronic settings can also be adjusted via the infotainment system.

Opening the Air conditioning menu

The current air conditioning settings are displayed in the upper section of the screen, e.g. the temperatures that are currently set for the driver and passenger sides. Set temperatures up to +22°C (+72°F) are depicted with blue arrows, while temperatures above +22°C (+72°F) are depicted with red arrows.

Touch the corresponding function button to switch a function on or off, or to select a submenu.

Function button Effect
Air conditioning profile Setting the blower level in AUTO mode. You can choose between light, medium and strong.
Switching off the Climatronic.
Switching on the Climatronic.
Opening the auxiliary heater menu   .
Opening the submenu for air conditioning settings. The following settings can be made:
Air conditioning profile function button for setting the blower output in AUTO mode. You can choose between light, medium and strong.
Touch the Automatic supplementary heater function button to switch the supplementary heater on and off   .
Touch the Automatic air recirculation function button to switch automatic air recirculation on and off   .
Function button for closing the submenu.
