Overview of control and display unit

1 -  Heated driver seat regulator
Optional
Seat heater has 3 heat settings. Current setting is shown by LED.
If no LED is lit, seat heating is switched off.
2 -  Heated rear window button
Depending on ambient temperature, rear window heating will remain on from 4 to 20 minutes.
3 -  Air recirculation button
  Note
Air recirculation mode changes to fresh air mode when ignition is switched off.
In vehicles for Japanese market, “air recirculation mode” remains unchanged when ignition is switched off.
4 -  Heated front passenger seat regulator
Optional
Seat heater has 3 heat settings. Current setting is shown by LED.
If no LED is lit, seat heating is switched off.
5 -  Rotary knob for setting air distribution
6 -  Display for air distribution
7 -  Rotary knob for setting blower speed
Left: reduce blower speed.
Right: increase blower speed.
8 -  Display for blower speed
9 -  Rotary knob for setting temperature
Left: reduce temperature.
Right: increase temperature.
10 -  Temperature setting display

Removal and installation are identical with procedure for vehicles with air conditioning system → Chapter.
