The Bluetooth car phone is integrated in control unit 1 for information electronics -J794-.
Connection to mobile telephone -R54- is established via Bluetooth.
Aerial for Bluetooth -R152- is integrated into control unit 1 for information electronics -J794-.
A WLAN hotspot is integrated to connect WLAN devices. A corresponding mobile phone contract is prerequisite for using.
The hands-free system consists of the following components:
Display unit for control device of front display and information control panel -J685-
Control unit 1 for information electronics -J794- with aerial for Bluetooth -R152-
Telephone microphone -R38-
Aerial amplifier for mobile telephone -R86-
Fault finding is done via Guided fault finding → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
Repairing aerial wiring → Electrical System, General Information; Rep. gr.97.
Notes on Bluetooth technology
A standardised wireless connection is used for transferring data between control unit 1 for information electronics -J794- and mobile telephone -R54- - Bluetooth technology.
An additional transmitter/receiver unit is located in control unit 1 for information electronics -J794-. An aerial for Bluetooth -R152- is used to connect control unit 1 for information electronics -J794- and mobile telephone -R54- such that the mobile telephone -R54- can be operated wirelessly without wiring connection.
The transmission range amounts to approx. 10 m.
