Several warning and indicator lamps will light up briefly as a functional check when the ignition is switched on. They will switch off after a few seconds.

A symbol in the instrument cluster display indicates that the bonnet is open or not closed properly. These symbols are also visible when the ignition is switched off. The display will go out approximately 15 seconds after all doors have been closed and the vehicle has been locked.
