Volkswagen Golf Service & Repair Manual: Removing and installing tie-down rings

  Note
Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side. Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
   

Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783

Removing
–  Fold down bar -4- and unclip cover -1- using a screwdriver.
–  Unscrew bolt -3- and remove tie-down ring -2-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Specified torques
  → Chapter „Assembly overview - luggage compartment side trim“
