| If the remote control receiver for auxiliary coolant heater
-R149- is renewed, the remote control receiver for auxiliary
coolant heater -R149- needs to be adapted to the auxiliary and
supplementary heater using the vehicle diagnostic tester in
“Guided fault finding” mode. |

Remove luggage compartment side trim on right
→ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |

|

Remove bolts -2- from bracket
-1- for Telestart. |

Remove bracket for Telestart far enough that remote control
receiver for auxiliary coolant heater -R149- is accessible. |
|
|
|

Separate connectors -3- and
-4-. |
| – |
Press securing tab aside using removal wedge -3409-. |
| – |
Pull remote control receiver for auxiliary coolant heater
-R149--2- upwards off bracket for
Telestart. |
| Install in reverse order. |
Note

-R149- is renewed, the remote control receiver for auxiliary
coolant heater -R149- needs to be adapted to the auxiliary and
supplementary heater using the vehicle diagnostic tester in
“Guided fault finding” mode. |
