Removing
–  Move front seats as far forwards as possible.
–  Unclip guides -1- for ISOFIX child seat anchor (qty. 4) from anchors → Chapter.

–  Grasp with one hand on one side under frame of rear bench seat.
–  Using both hands, pull rear bench seat -1- upwards with a firm jerk -arrows A-. This will disengage wire hook -2- of rear bench seat from mounting grommet -3-.
–  Repeat the procedure on the other side of the rear bench seat -arrows B-.

–  Slightly lift up rear bench seat -1- at front and push wire frame -2- towards rear out of arresters -3-.
–  Remove rear bench seat from vehicle.

Installing
Install in reverse order, but note the following:
–  Check body apertures -arrow- for deformation.
–  Repair any deformation using a plastic head hammer.
  Note
Slight remaining deformations are permissible.
–  Lift up floor covering -2- and press new mounting grommets -1- into body aperture -arrow- until they engage audibly.
–  Arrange floor covering around grommet as shown in illustration.
  Note
The floor covering must not cover the grommet.

–  Before installing the rear bench seat, check if the wire frame is aligned properly in the highlighted area -arrows-.
–  If the wire frame is bent, it must be bent back until it is properly aligned again.
–  Fit rear bench seat and press wire hooks firmly into mounting grommets.
–  Ensure that the wire hooks are properly engaged in the mounting grommets.
