| Air conditioning systems designed for refrigerant R12 must
not be charged with refrigerant R134a until specific conversion
measures have been performed

| The refrigerant oils specifically developed for R134a
refrigerant circuits must never be mixed with the refrigerant
oils specifically developed for R12 refrigerant circuits. |
| Air conditioner service stations which come in contact with
the refrigerant must be used only for the intended refrigerant. |
| Components for R134a refrigerant circuits are identified
with a legend or a green label, or are so designed (e.g. with
different threads), that they cannot be confused with components
for R12 refrigerant circuits. |
| Within the engine compartment, on the bonnet catch striker
plate or in the plenum chamber there is an information plate
which states what refrigerant is used. |
| Different refrigerants must never be mixed together. |
