Carry out procedure in sequence as follows: |

Visual check

Check the colour indicator, “3-colour”,
→ Chapter or “2-colour”,
→ Chapter |
WARNING
It is not permissible to test or charge batteries
whose colour indicator is light yellow. Do not
slave/jump start the vehicle! |
Danger of explosion when checking and charging or
slave/jump starting. |
These batteries must be renewed. |

Battery test with battery tester with printer -VAS 6161-

Depending on the result of the battery test, “perform
current draw test”
