| Carry out procedure in sequence as follows: |
| 1. |
Visual check

Check the colour indicator, “3-colour”,
→ Chapter or “2-colour”,
→ Chapter |
WARNING
| It is not permissible to test or charge batteries
whose colour indicator is light yellow. Do not
slave/jump start the vehicle! |
| Danger of explosion when checking and charging or
slave/jump starting. |
| These batteries must be renewed. |

Battery test with battery tester with printer -VAS 6161-
→ Chapter. |
| 4. |
Depending on the result of the battery test, “perform
current draw test”
→ Chapter. |

| Carry out procedure in sequence as follows: |

Battery load test with battery tester with printer -VAS
