Special tools and workshop equipment required

Protective cap for wiring harness connector -VAS 6223/9-

If the control unit is replaced, select the Replace function of the respective control unit in Guided fault finding → Vehicle diagnostic tester.

Removing

–	Remove luggage compartment floor

Removing and installing TV tuner, eGolf

–	Release strap -1- and disconnect connectors -2-.

Removing and installing TV tuner, eGolf

–	Push protective cap for cable connector -VAS 6223/9--1- onto connector of MOST bus -2-.

–	Remove TV tuner -R171-.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. When doing this, note the following:
