| It is not permissible to test or charge batteries
whose magic eye shows light yellow. Do not slave/jump
start the vehicle! |

| In maintenance mode the battery charger -VAS 5095 A- ensures
that the battery is charged correctly and is maintained in fully
charged condition. |

Note
| When a battery is being charged in maintenance mode and a
electrical consumer draws current from the battery, the battery
charger -VAS 5095 A- automatically compensates the charge. |
| The maintenance mode can be continued for an unlimited
period. |
| The battery is always ready for use. |
