Assembly overview - drive unit of air conditioner compressor, Golf and Golf Estate

1 -  Poly V-belt
Removing and installing → Rep. gr.13.
Mark the direction of rotation and ensure that do not reverse it when installing → Rep. gr.13.
2 -  Ancillary bracket
Optional
Removing and installing → Rep. gr.13.
3 -  Sealing ring
Renewing; for versions, refer to → Electronic Parts Catalogue.
Before fitting a seal, coat lightly with refrigerant oil
4 -  Bolt
22 Nm
5 -  Refrigerant line, high-pressure side
6 -  Refrigerant line, low-pressure side
7 -  Bolt
22 Nm
8 -  Sealing ring
Renewing; for versions, refer to → Electronic Parts Catalogue.
Before fitting a seal, coat lightly with refrigerant oil
9 -  Air conditioner compressor regulating valve -N280-
Checking: Use vehicle diagnostic tester in “Guided fault finding” mode and → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations
10 -  Air conditioner compressor

Removing and installing → Chapter.

11 -  Bolt
Qty. 3.
25 Nm
12 -  Belt pulley with overload protection
