Firmly pull suspension link down in
-direction of arrow- and press up again. |

Press lower part of wheel forcefully inwards and outwards in
-direction of arrow-. |
Note
There should be no palpable or visible “play” during both
tests. |
Observe swivel joint while performing tests. |
Take into account possible existing wheel bearing play or
“play” in upper suspension strut mounting. |
Check rubber boot for damage and renew swivel joint if
necessary. |

Note
Seam seals made during repair work must be identical in
appearance and thickness to the original seam seals.
To avoid damage or faulty operation, brush seam seals smooth
near attachments which must be attached.
