Removing and installing Bowden cable for remote release mechanism for seat
backrest

Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side.
Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.

Loosen and tighten bolts and securing nuts for covers and
housings diagonally.
Avoid canting particularly sensitive parts such as comtrol
motor with control unit. Loosen and tighten them diagonally in
stages.

Changing headlights over from driving on right to driving on left (gas
discharge headlights)
If a right-hand drive vehicle is driven in a left-hand drive
country, or vice versa, the headlights must be converted. This
is necessary in order to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic with
the asymmetric low beam headlights.
