Protect body and interior from glass splinters. |

Remove pieces of glass up to adhesive sealing material. |

Pull off connections for rear window heating and aerial. |

Cover flange -2- all round with
textile-reinforced adhesive tape. |
| – |
Cut through adhesive seal (with glass remains) in window
cut-out using electric cutter -V.A.G 1561 A- and U-shaped blade
-V.A.G 1561-. |
WARNING
| Always wear safety goggles and leather gloves. |

The removal of a bonded window is described using the
Removal kit for flush bonded windows -V.A.G 1474 A-.
