Protect body and interior from glass splinters. |

Remove pieces of glass up to adhesive sealing material. |

Pull off connections for rear window heating and aerial. |

Cover flange -2- all round with
textile-reinforced adhesive tape. |

Cut through adhesive seal (with glass remains) in window
cut-out using electric cutter -V.A.G 1561 A- and U-shaped blade
