  Note
If the remote control receiver for auxiliary coolant heater -R149- is renewed, the remote control receiver for auxiliary coolant heater -R149- needs to be adapted to the auxiliary and supplementary heater using the vehicle diagnostic tester in “Guided fault finding” mode.
Removing
–  Remove right C-pillar trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
   
–  Disengage remote control receiver for auxiliary coolant heater -R149--1- using suitable tool at points marked with -arrows-.
–  Pull remote control receiver for auxiliary coolant heater -R149--1- off bracket in -direction of arrow-.
–  Separate connectors -2- and -3-.
Installing
Install in reverse order.
  Note
If the remote control receiver for auxiliary coolant heater -R149- is renewed, the remote control receiver for auxiliary coolant heater -R149- needs to be adapted to the auxiliary and supplementary heater using the vehicle diagnostic tester in “Guided fault finding” mode.
Specified torque
Trims, interior; Assembly overview - C-pillar trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
