Removing and installing
→ Chapter |
Caution
| Any risk of damage to the knee airbag surface due to
mechanical stress must be eliminated. |
| After completion of the repair work perform a visual check
to ensure that the knee airbag surface is not damaged,
particularly in the perforated area. |

Caution
| Eliminate any risk of failure due to a faulty earth
connection. |

Thread and contact surface must be free of paint,
coatings and corrosion. |

The bolted connection is used as earth connection for
the knee airbag. |
