Assembly overview - knee airbag

1 -  Knee airbag with driver side knee airbag igniter -N295-.
   Removing and installing → Chapter
  Caution
Any risk of damage to the knee airbag surface due to mechanical stress must be eliminated.
After completion of the repair work perform a visual check to ensure that the knee airbag surface is not damaged, particularly in the perforated area.
2 -  Contact point
   For knee airbag.
  Caution
Eliminate any risk of failure due to a faulty earth connection.
  •   Thread and contact surface must be free of paint, coatings and corrosion.
  •   The bolted connection is used as earth connection for the knee airbag.

  •
