Note
- When removing lock cylinder cover cap, the screwdriver should
not be turned and the screwdriver should not be used as a lever.
- The lock cylinder and cover cap for lock cylinder are only
installed on the driver side

Pull door handle off door. |

Push a small screwdriver -3- slightly
-arrow a- into opening on underside of lock
cylinder cover cap. |

Pull lock cylinder housing cover cap -1-,
together with small screwdriver, off door lightly from underside
-arrow b-. |
– |
Push cap upwards off lock cylinder. |
– |
Pull door handle -1- off door. |
– |
Push lock cylinder cover cap -2- at a
slight angle from above -arrow a- onto lock
cylinder. |
– |
Push lock cylinder cover cap -2- onto
door -arrow b- until cover cap engages in
lock cylinder. |

Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-

The cover cap is installed when no lock cylinder is fitted.
