1 -  Hexagon socket head bolt
8 Nm
2 -  Parking brake motor
Left parking brake motor -V282-, fitting location: on rear left brake caliper
Right parking brake motor -V283-, fitting location: on rear right brake caliper
Removing and installing → Chapter
3 -  Control unit for electromechanical parking brake -J540-
Integrated into ABS control unit -J104- and cannot be renewed individually
Removing and installing ABS control unit -J104- → Chapter
4 -  Auto-hold button -E540-
With auto-hold warning lamp -K237-
Location: in centre console.
Removing and installing → Electrical system; Rep. gr.96
5 -  Electromechanical parking brake button -E538-
With electromechanical parking brake warning lamp -K213-
Location: in centre console.
Removing and installing → Electrical system; Rep. gr.96
6 -  Dash panel insert
With brake system warning lamp -K118-
With electric parking brake and handbrake fault warning lamp -K214-
7 -  Nut
Not fitted
8 -  Rear brake caliper
9 -  Sealing ring
Renew
Removing and installing control unit for electromechanical parking brake -J540-
The control unit for electromechanical parking brake -J540- is integrated into the ABS control unit -J104- and cannot be renewed individually.
–  Removing and installing ABS control unit -J104- → Chapter.
