Assembly overview - radiator and radiator fan

1 -  Radiator
Removing and installing → Chapter
Change coolant after renewing.
2 -  Coolant hose
Pull out retaining clip to remove.
Connecting → Fig.
3 -  Retaining clip
4 -  O-ring
Renew
5 -  Radiator outlet coolant temperature sender -G83-
Removing and installing → Chapter
6 -  O-ring
Renew
7 -  Coolant hose
Pull out retaining clip to remove.
Connecting → Fig.
8 -  O-ring
Renew
9 -  Coolant hose
Pull out retaining clip to remove.
Connecting → Fig.
10 -  Air duct
Not fitted on all vehicles
11 -  Air duct
12 -  Rubber bush
For radiator
13 -  Radiator for charge air cooling circuit
Removing and installing → Chapter „Removing and installing radiator“
14 -  Condenser
Removing and installing → Heating, air conditioning; Rep. gr.87.
15 -  Rubber bush
For radiator
16 -  O-ring
Renew
17 -  Coolant hose
Pull out retaining clip to remove.
Connecting → Fig.
18 -  O-ring
Renew

 
     
Connecting coolant hose with plug-in connector to radiator
–  Remove old O-ring -2- in coolant hose -3-.
–  Moisten new O-ring with coolant and insert into coolant hose.
–  Push coolant hose into connection -1- until it audibly engages.
–  Press again on coolant hose and check plug-in connector is engaged correctly by pulling hose back.
